कुछ यादें पुराने झरोखों से

सन् २००२ की बात है,दसवीं कक्षा में था मैं | मेट्रिक का एग्जाम चल रहा था मेरा और BS कॉलेज दानापुर में सेंटर आ गया था | बैशाख का महीना था और मार्च की सुर्ख गर्मी | सुबह को थोड़ी ठंडी और दोपहर को थोड़ी जालिम | बिहार में जैसे जैसे लालूराज ख़तम हो रहा था और गंगाजी का पानी भी धीरे धीरे वैसे ही कम हो रहा था |



वैसे एक बात बता देते हैं की किसी भी बिहारी के लिए बिहार बोर्ड का मैट्रिक एग्जाम जो होता है न वह लक्ष्मण रेखा की तरह होता है | उसको जो पार कर लिए तो फिर आपको ज़िन्दगी दे पटखनी दे पटखनी | लेकिन खैर उस ज़िन्दगी की कथा कभी और.

तो बात यह है की मैं जाता था अपने पापा के साथ बैठ के सेंटर पर एग्जाम देने सुबह सुबह | उस समय परीक्षा दो चरणों में हुआ करती थी | एक होती थी सुबह १० से १ और दूसरी होती थी २ से ५ | मम्मी लंच पैक कर के दे देती थी मेरा और पापा दोनों का और साथ में २ लीटर ठंडा ठंडा पानी वैशाख की गर्मी से बचने के लिए | सब कुछ ठीक था .. घंटी बजती थी . एडमिट कार्ड दिखाओ . चीट पुर्जा चेक कराओ अंदर जाओ ..और अपना घंटा बजवाओ पेपर देख के | क्यूंकि बिहार बोर्ड का हाल ऐसा था की आप कुछ भी कर लो कितना भी लिख लो नंबर तो निरीक्षक की बीवी के मूड पर निर्भर करता था

खैर छोड़िये उनको , यह किस्सा हमारा है … तो बात यह है की BS कॉलेज बसा था गंगा नदी के किनारे ..यह कॉलेज की रेखा समापत हुई और वह पीछे की तरफ गंगा जी की बयार चालु और बस उसी का इंतज़ार रहता था मुझे पुरे दिन में . पुरे दिन में १० मिनट मिलता था मुझे जब बीच के १ घंटे के लंच ब्रेक में पापा के साथ बाहर जाके पूरी भुजिया निपटाटा था और साथ में बुक पलट पलट के लास्ट टाइम हनुमान चालीसा पढता था | पापा पूछते थे जल्दी क्या है आराम से खाओ लेकिन हमको १० मिनट पहले सब कुछ निपटाना था २ बजने से पहले | इधर मेरा पूरी भुजिया ख़तम और उधर हमने तपाक से हाथ धोया और बाबूजी का आशीर्वाद लेके दौर लिए सेंटर के अंदर | थोड़ा दोस्त वोस्ट से मिले बात की और भाग निकले गंगा जी से आशीर्वाद लेने | कॉलेज की चारदीवारी पर चढ़े और १० मिनट के लिए आसन लगा बैठे

आज का मैडिटेशन फेडिटेशन सब व्यर्थ है क्यूंकि जो सुकून गंगा जी के किनारे बैठ के वह १० मिनट में आता था वैसा सुकून आज तक नहीं आया | कोई वहां पाप धो रहा होता था तो कोई अपनी ज़िन्दगी सवार रहा होता था नौका चला के | बैसाख के उस दोपहरिया में हलकी हलकी सी लू की छोटी बहन घुमा करती थी जिसको गंगा जी अपना आशीर्वाद दे देती थी और वह हमें आके थोड़ी सी ठंडक |

मेट्रिक का एग्जाम हो गया पास भी हो गए | बड़े भी हो गए लेकिन आज भी जब कभी अप्रैल मई के महीने में रूम की खिड़की खोलने पर वह हवा पता पूछती है तो वही गंगा जी और वही कॉलेज की चारदीवारी पर बैठा १४ साल का लड़का याद आ जाता है | एकटक लगा के देखता हुआ गंगा की बहती बयार को सोचता हुआ की यार यह नौका पर बैठ के घूमने में कितना मजा आता होगा , नहीं ?

कुछ यादें बचपन से

कुछ साल पहले की बात है

घर के बरामदे में बैठा बैठा अपने स्मार्टफोन पर गाने सुन रहा था और साथ में डेली न्यूज़ चेक कर रहा था व्हाट्सअप पर …
मैं अपने धुन में मस्त था की अनायास ही मेरी नज़र सामने वाले टीवी टावर पर चली गई | अलग ही है यह चीज़ | पचीसिओं मंजिल जितना ऊँचा , शायद उससे ज्यादा ही होगा | गगनचुम्बी शायद इसे ही कहते है | आजतक इससे ऊँचा कुछ नहीं देखा | दूर से ही दीखता है | किसी को भी बचपन में घर का पता बताना होता था तो कह देते थे की अरे वह टीवी टावर के पास है | वो देख रहे हो न , हाँ हाँ वही पर |

अलग ही सम्मोहन सी शक्ति है ..

बचपन में स्कूल भी बगल में ही था मेरा इसके | वहां से भी दीखता था | एक दो बार दूरदर्शन का प्रशारण बंद हुआ था तो हेलीकाप्टर से ठीक करने आये थे इसके माथे को | हमको हेलीकाप्टर तो दिखा नहीं था बचपन में लेकिन क्या करे अगर बोल देते की साला कहाँ है हेलीकाप्टर हमको नहीं दिख रहा तो बच्चा सब गधा गधा बोल के चिढ़ा देता पूरा स्कूल में तो मिला दिए सुर में सुर हम भी | लेकिन कुछ तो ठीक किया गया था क्यों दूरदर्शन वापस से आने लगा था और " हम लोग " , " सुरभि " , "रंगोली " , " नुक्कड़ " सब चालू हो गया था टपक से |

स्कूल कोई बड़ा था नहीं मेरा | किराये की बिल्डिंग थी और उसमें कुछ काम चलाव झोपड़ियां और उनमें ही लगती थी मेरी क्लास लेकिन दोस्तों के साथ वही क्लास आज MBA के क्लास को भी पीछे छोड़ देती है| स्कूल था तो थोड़ा छोटा लेकिन स्पोर्ट्स के फेस्टिवल जरूर करवाता था वह भी इसी टीवी टावर के कंपाउंड में | पूरा स्कूल जमा होता था | मेला लगता था और सबसे अच्छी बात की उसमें होती थी तरह तरह की रेसेस जैसे की स्पून रेस , मैथ रेस , रेमेम्बेरिंग रेस और सही से मस्ती करो तो मिलते थे तरह तरह के अवार्ड्स | मैंने भी जीते थे काफी मैथ रेस क्यूंकि दौड़ने में भले नहीं अच्छा था लेकिन मैथ के प्रॉब्लम बनाने में टकाटक

 लेकिन इन सब से अच्छी बात होती थी टिफ़िन की | टीवी टावर के पीछे एक नहर होती थी ( थी क्या आज भी है ) जो मेरे घर तक जाती थी | माँ भले कभी आये न आये लेकिन स्पोर्ट्स डे के दिन जरूर आती थी हमारा गेम देखने और हम तैयार रहते थे माँ के हाथ का हलवा खाने को | भाड़ में गया स्पोर्ट्स टोस्पोर्ट्स , हलवा याद रहता था हरसमय | जैसे ही मम्मी आती दिखती थी , हम लोग दूर से हिरन के छोटे छोटे बच्चों की तरह कुलांचे भरने लगते थे उसी टीवी टावर के मैदानों में और लिपट जाते थे मम्मी से बोलते हुए की हलवा खिलाओ
आज न तो वो मैदान बचा है और न ही मेरा स्कूल बचा है

लेकिन वह टीवी टावर आज भी है | आज भी है याद दिलाता हुआ उसी हलवे की महक याद दिला कर .. आज भी खुश हो जाता हूँ की कुछ तो है इन कंक्रीट के जंगलों में जो आज भी मेरे बचपन की याद को ज़िंदा रखा हुआ है

मैं बुरा था या नही

तू कहती है की मैं बुरा हूँ |

तू कोसती है यह कह की मैंने तेरी कभी फ़िक्र न की | तू ताने मरती है की मैंने कभी तेरा धयान नहीं रखा|

हो सकता है तू सही कह रही हो | हो सकता है की मैं थोड़ा सा खड़ूस था | अजीब सा था मैं | काफी अजीब सा

मैं खुद को दूर रखता था इनसब से | क्यूंकि मुझे विस्वास नहीं था की मुझे दुबारा से कभी प्यार हो पायेगा दुबारा से फिर किसी के बारे में दिल से सोच पाउँगा , फिर किसी के बारे में ख़याली पुलाव पकाऊँगा , की कैसे हम लोग साथ रहेंगे कैसे हम लोगों के बचे होंगे कैसे हम लोग अपना पुलिंदा बनाएंगे | काफी सोचता था मैंने

लेकिन किसी और के साथ | थी वो एक लड़की | अच्छी लगती थी मुझे | काफी पसंद भी करती थी लेकिन कभी जिक्र नहीं करा | बिलकुल वैसे ही धयान रखती थी जैसी की तू मेरा | लेकिन फर्क सिर्फ इतना था की मैंने भी रखना चालू करा था उसका धयान | सोचते थे की हम दोनों की शादी हो जाएगी तो यह करेंगे वह करेंगे ऐसे रहेंगे वैसे रहेंगे | लेकिन बेडा गर्क हो ऐसे समाज का जो अपने लिए जीने नहीं देता | समझ जीने देता है तो बस समझ के लिए |

चली गई वह किसी और के साथ जो उसके समाज का था लेकिन एक बार भी नहीं कहा उसने की में दिल का बुरा  था | चंद लम्हों में सीखा गई की इंसान कभी बुरा नहीं होता , बुरी होती है समाज , बुरा होता है वह हाल जिसमें हम रह कर कुछ कदम उठाते हैं

उठाया होगा मैंने भी कुछ कदम | दिखाई होगी मैंने भी कुछ बैरुखियाँ जिसको देखके तुझे लगा होगा थोड़ा अजीब

और कह दिया होगा तूने बहुत बुरा है तू

लेकिन में तो बस इतना ही कहूंगा की " मैं  दिल का बुरा नहीं हूँ "

What inspires me?

A question that can make me to think over my life, to ponder on my past for a whole night again and thus increasing my count of sleepless night from 4 to don’t know how many. Thanks to this new start in my life (MBA), I am getting used to these sleepless nights.

So talking about inspiration, for many person inspiration comes from the life of their parents, some incidence that they have faced in their life, some of the situation that happened in the life of their friends and don’t know. In my opinion you can get inspired from anything of this universe, from a grass, which get its life back again after getting crushed from the barefoot of human who unknowingly do this as a health practice, from an ant who carries enormous weight as food to feed up its colony without knowing that it can come under the step of a human or get killed in next fractions of second, from a common man who wake up early morning and after doing hard work in different places take care of his/her family.

But what about me? Which was the moment who inspired me throughout my life? Was it during my schooling day where I studied under the hut-classes and secured top ranks throughout my schools till 10^th class without getting worried about my future as a carefree and studious boy? Was it my competitive exams preparation of IIT/AIEEE for which I was studying day and night rigorously without thinking about my 12^th class exams and thus getting a prostate cancer of  academic career ( a below 70% marks in my 12^th from which I am suffering at this time too sadly but true) just to get a seat in TIER-1 engineering colleges? Was it the fun, experience, friendship or the knowledge I gathered at my ALMA-MATER which changed my course of life and gave me an exposure of the world outside of IIT/AIEEE preparation for which the boys of my native land are known for ? Was it the hardship, frustration and relative’s special critics (a life-long gift to you if you are a true Indian) I received after sitting idle for 8 months in the recession period even after getting a job in my campus job selection and thus struggling once again for getting a decent job to once again come out of my native land known for struggling students? Was it the overnight journeys from Patna (my native land ) to Kolkata ( where I used to give my centre location just to follow a rumor that people from west Bengal get selected easily ) to appear in different govt. exams ? Was it the first taste of corporate life or the internal politics or the 2 lowest rating (need to improvement, seriously!!)  that’s too back to back , which I didn’t get used to in my 3+ year of work ex in a company where I secured my job offer after 3 rigours interviews ? Was it my 5 attempts at CAT , or kind of my madness to bell the CAT which I was following since the last year of my college through which finally I landed into a centre of excellence finally ?

Might be, some of the people can get inspired by me after listening my whole life of story. Even I heard myself 1 or 2 comment from third person, they must be joking.

I can’t be a point of inspiration for anyone.

I can inspire only one person truly and that’s ME. Yes, I am the person from which I get inspired. I was the one who faced all the ups and downs in my life, sailed my boat of life by myself with the support of my family and friend. It was me only who fought back with every situation of my life whether it was an education related problem , work ex related problem, career related problem or most importantly a decent girlfriend-search related problem.

This search, this hardship, these ups and downs are associated with my life and only I am the only one who can come over it.

You know they say “It’s written”. It is written however the path has to be made by you,yourself only.

Aftermath of BUDGET 2013-2014

Tax credit of 2000 in the 1^st tax slab of (2-5 lakh) is going to affect 1.8 crore people of INDIA.

To boost the infrastructure two IDFs (infrastructure debt funds) have been announced. Currently there are two companies in which one is INDIA INFRA DEBT LIMITED , a NBFC and collaboration of  ICICI,CITIBANK,LIC and Bank of Baroda collaboration .

Tax- free bonds worth Rs 50,000 crore will be allowed in this year. This will create capital for companies like IIFCL (Indian infrastructure finance company limited ) which are generating this tax –free bonds to fill their shortage of funds.

RAJIV GANDHI EQUITY SAVING SCHEME ( which offer a deduction under 80 CCG which can act as a boost for domestic investors )is back with some tweaks like the entry limit have been changed from 10 lakh salary holders to 12 lakh salary holders . Its 3 year tax benefit is surely going to attract small investors in the domestic capital market.

In this era of finding a shelter over your head, this budget has announced something really good. For the first time home-loan appliers , there will be an additional tax benefit of 1 lakh on the interest amount paid  upto a loan of 25 lakh in fiscal year 2013-14 . This will come as a relief to first time home buyers over the original 1.5 lakh interest paid on home loan.

New bonds like inflation indexed national certificates or inflation indexed bonds by RBI will also going to attract small investors.

For the female group announcement of an all woman-powered female bank by the month of October is seriously good news. Easy to get loan for females in these banks without a sense of alienation  

Same KYC form for banks is also going to work for new insurance policies so somewhere lesser paper work is going to attract insurance funding.

With a dedicated debt exchange within stock exchange, debt market is sooner going to be relieved.

The main eyes were on the subsidiaries announcement for fertilizers and fuels ( biggest import of india 2474 INR billion imports ) which was less than what was required ( instead of 1 lakh approx for fertilizer it received only 65000 crore . This compensation can only be seen as reflected in steep increase of fertilizer price in future or by under compensating with fertilizer companies. By increasing fertilizer prices will have a triggering effect in increased food prices and so farmers will demand high minimum support prices.

Same is the situation with fuel subsidiaries, with the shortfall of what is actually needed in this budget year, seeing the trend 65000 crore fuel subsidiaries will not be sufficient for upcoming budget year 2013-2014 and it will be met in sharp increase in petro-products so the triggering effect in other commodities.

To- Do List

Whenever you find yourself like you have an empty mind, no thoughts running inside of your head; pick up a  pen and paper and start noting down the thing you wanted to do in your life. The “to-do” list is kind of a reflection of “goals” of your personal life.

 Right now (at the point of writing this point), I am kind of doing nothing (sitting in office doing monitoring) , I don’t have a paperback notepad with me however I do have a notepad.

 So here it is my current “to-do” list.

1.         To do bungee jumping ( yes simple and safe thing to measure the value of g)
2.         To sing aloud in the front –stage of a foreign band (obviously a song from my favorite band which I have on my mind always)
3.        To do a bike-ride on the less-traveled roads of Leh with a companion , more or like a road trip( one of my college friends , yes I don’t want a female company to ruin this trip )
4.         To gain some teaching experience ( yes some social work)
5.        To see a beach (already did it but at the age of 26 quite late :/)  ✓
6.         To shout from the top of a snow-mountain
7.         To jump from a plane or simply say skydiving
8.       To become an excellent photographer
9.             To have a date with a complete stranger in a single night
10.           To propose a stranger without getting a harsh reply 
11.           To dance ( hip-hop professional dance)
12.            To do a ball-dance with a pretty girl
13.             ………

Currently I have only these things in my mind. I will keep updating my wishes  in this list time to time . :)

What's yourS???

Story in the brown briefcase

Lots of hopes are there from the movie “The Financial budget of 2013-2014” releasing on 28^th feb 2013, directed by Palaniappan Chidambaram, our dear finance minister.

 I hope they will take care of the following points:-

1.           Curbing the revenue deficit ( Difference between recurring incomes which include taxable and non-taxable receipt and the expenses like salary ,asset-creation, maintaining the judiciary system, public utilities system)
2.            Curbing the inflation and controlling the account deficit (spending more foreign exchange than we earn) and at the same time taming the revenue deficit too.
3.             Inclusion of DTC ( Direct TAX code) – simple transparent and non-discriminatory  system of taxing
4.             Increased investment in infrastructure which will again lead to asset-creation expenditure of government.
5.              By raising revenue and Cutting expenditure trying to contain wide fiscal deficit.
6.               Taxes should be raised however instead of raising tax rates; no. of people paying taxes should be increased.
7.                Tax-exemption and taxing of “super-rich” should be redefined.
8.                By playing with excise duty ,revenue can be increase however within the controlled inflationary impact
9.                 Subsidies should be trimmed gradually and money should be transferred to the “needy” through Public welfare system on products like fuel and fertilizer.
10. .            GST- Group Service tax – It should be implemented with increased area of service tax.

People will take some time however eventually they will comply with it.

Eyes will be also on “DIESEL”, the main villain of the market.

Nowadays where smalls car are getting relaxation of excise slab of 12 %, at the same time SUVs and SEDANs are getting whipped by 25% and 27% of excise rate respectively.  So after getting a beating in all the previous budgets, Society of Indian automobile will look for some hope this time and in that too the story is more different for DIESEL cars.

As diesel prices are going to be increase in gradually manner, diesel car manufacturers are hoping for no increase in tax on diesel car.

Fun Fact: - only 2 % of total diesel consumption is used by private cars and taxis so it would be wrong to imagine that large CARS and SEDANS are using subsidized diesel and thus should be levied more.

Also SIAM is thinking of protecting the commercial vehicle segment from cheaper imports and gramin seva vikrams also called “jugaads” (production of medium and heavy commercial vehicles have been dropped by 19.13% in last year) by an increase in custom duty by 10% to 40 %.

Above all of that government need to keep pace of its infrastructure development programs, employment generation with the slow GDP Rate (hoping to increase in next quarter). Government should work in clearing the pending issues of land acquisition and other problems so that private investors can kick in. Government reform programs can increase the confidence and thus boost the investment in GDP Growth.

I will try to improve my thinking towards more rational, more questionable and more scientific side 

and encourage my colleagues, my friends, my acquaintances for the same because I was very much 

disturbed from the events of last year which I would like to remind { we the INDIANS literally believe 

in doing something today and forgetting it on the next day } like the Delhi NCR rape case, the BODO-

MUSLIM fight, the MALALA case , the INNOCENT of Muslim case, the Corruptible Government 

incompetency and many more which can only be avoided by the means of opening our minds in a 

rational way towards the things we see, we feel and we hear. 

So it will be good if we just don’t repeat the New Year wish like a “thing” and make a NYR – New Year resolution- which we never follow.

Respect your tongue. Hold your promises. Hold your beliefs. Take a stand. Follow your NYR.

Let bring confidence in saying “Yes, I am an INDIAN “.

And in the end I Just want to say…. “Happy new year fellas”.

P.S. :- My NYR is to keep alive my inner soul like it was in previous year and keep up doing some good work for my country.

The Girl at Yamuna Bank

Date :- 25th Dec 2012

Place :- Agra

It was a Misty morning
   Taj was all trying to lurk out from its hazy milieu .
   There was so much crowd in Taj gallery gathered to have a look of one of the greatest architecture marvel of modern world.
   The crowd was growing hour by hour and at the same time TAJ was loosing its space for the serenity it provides me since the first time I visited it.

So I went to nearby Yamuna river bank ( Dashera Ghat), one of the holy rivers of ancient India, not so holy now thanks to the cities situated on the bank of  it and their sewage plan.

There was some Hindu GOD and GODDESS idol lying there trying to find their secured places from the person who used to come there often to wash their sins, to request them to fulfill their desires and many more and suddenly this Girl came from nowhere in the mid range of my digi-cam's  view finder and the misty Taj and thus I captured "the Girl at Yamuna Bank".

Love at first sight....

Thought coming from a mind which is still in hangover of SATURDAY Night fever

Well I just woke up and as usual started face-booking from my mobile to break away the chilling winter morning spell.  

What was I expecting that the Q-tiyapic stand of government will continue today again near RAISENA hills over the protesters who are gathered there to show support for that “Brave Girl” {who did nothing wrong in the evening of 16^th December  2012 but still suffering for her life }, however it was nothing like there .

P.S.:- FB feed works much better than those paid media news feed.

The Q-tiyapic stand has been elevated to next level like

è The Metro stations, which are near to RAISENA Hills (Rastrapati Bhawan), have been closed after yesterday mid-night - seriously L.O.L., what does the government think, that closing the transport system which has been built by the people’s money for the people who actually need it will help them to stop the protesters from reaching there? There was transportation services before the arrival of metro and it still exists}.              

 And as you can see, people are there at INDIA gate in a number far greater than yesterday, even small children are there.

è Section 144 over the nearby areas of RASTRAPATI bhawan to secure some “ VVIP” youth icons and other over most respected politicians  -  what do our government think  that India is a MIDDLE –east country whether they can launch this “so-called FATWA” anytime to secure themselves. Well protest will happen and it is still happening.

Even at this strange point of time GOD { Sachin Tendulkar} has suddenly said “adieu” to ODI cricket, which is hitting me like anything , forcing me to think that whether or not “ is it an another Red Herring to divert the home-sitting Indian class attention from the on-going protest over that “brave girl” issue.

After all GOD has taken a form of politician this year. He had taken an “OATH” for that.

Well if he was so eager to announce his retirement today, he should have done that thing on INDIA gate, this way he could have actively participated in protest and also announced his retirement in a GODLY manner. In this way he had another world record with him.

In this strange point of time, I seriously want to see those bright faces of Indian Politics which are so much concerned about Indian youth {Rahul Gandhi aka Rahul baba ( bachon wala baba not dhongi baba)}, Goddess respect (sushma swaraj who made a cry over the use of name “radha” in a bollywood song}, ethnic riots in different part of India (arun jaitley and others).

 I just want to ask them one simple question - “where are you now “. Come stand with us in our protest.

Anybody can be powerful when he is assured of his security. In Loksabha and Rajyasabha, anyone can speak a pre-edited speech in a fascinating manner. If you really care for the people who elected you just stand with them in their protest}.

Well I just don’t want to see this protest getting finished like the way protest for LOKPAL support happened.

I want to see this coming and getting echoed in every room of RAISENA Hills. Not a capital punishment but I want want security and respect for women in India.

I want to be the part of a change. I want to ROAR with this INDIA’s voice.

 However I am just afraid that tomorrow is MONDAY.

Seeing so much of the news about “the” Delhi Gang Rape case happened day before yesterday, the sympathy of the "males" including some of the "husbands" who beat their wives at their home, some "bosses" who harasses their female employees , some "youths " who teases their gals classmates more often and some feminists including who ignore comments of their counterparts more often and in a way boosting their morals , I am very much overwhelmed by these kind of things after knowing that in my own country , there is another country of “FB-thinkers” is there.

Well I just want to say all of them that it’s very good to “bark” over the internet playground “ Facebook” over these issues , flooding your “walls” with protesting pictures, castrating organs message, the hatred status messages with p.s. like “let’s see how many of you really want to kill them .. like it “, changing your cover picture and display picture in some kind of black colored picture { showing protest to our society} and re-posting some of the “stupid” page updates , however it just takes courage to introspect things.

I was really amazed when someone started posting about the death of that gal . I was totally stoned after  I realized that how FB is exploiting someone’s mind that he/she is using that poor gal’s death to increase hits on his/her page. Then only I started thinking of writing this post.

These things are happening because we are letting them. We need a society reform to stop such kind of thing. Till now you must have realized that government can’t do anything and if you are not then please stop reading this post. Just like you protect your home by putting a lock on the main door , start protecting your society with these mentally retarded freaks.

Start the idea of self-regulating. There is enough knowledge to exploit medium class youth in good way. Start seeing with a “give-respect” eye to your female counter-part in your home, workplace and public place, start changing yourself, start shouting whenever you see these kinds of retards doing such kind of things.

Come out of Facebook and do something to note down in your “Realbook”.

USSD codes part 2...make ur android phone safe from Hard Reset and Soft Reset USSD code

“Necessity is the mother of invention”. When someone said this, he/she didn’t think whether the “invention” is going to be used for the welfare of mankind or for the destruction of it. They (the inventors) were just like the hunters who were hunting in the field of science to discover something new which can ease the mankind.

In continuation from my recent post on the use of USSD codes as a method to erase your phone data from your phone browser(click here to read it) here I am again with two USSD code which can give soft and hard reset to your android phone.

Soft Reset Code for Android: *#*#7780#*#*:- This USSD code will simply put your phone to default settings. It will delete your phone account setting, system and application data settings and downloaded applications.

However it won’t delete your default applications, natural software and files on memory card.  

Hard Reset Code for Android: *2767*3855#:- This USSD code will put your phone in FACTORY settings (a shortcut for factory setting to your phone with bypassing the passwords you have set to access this setting).

It will simply clear all the setting, all the internal memory, all the files which you have in your phone till now. In short it will make your phone new like as just out of Factory (the reason because of which it is called as Factory reset mode).

If you run this USSD code, your firmware will be re-installed. However if you run this code , neither you will get any notification nor any permission requests, the only way to stop it is to pull  battery out of your phone , however I don’t know how it will effect to your phone if you do this in the middle of the process. 

So if you want to feel safe for your phone either handover your phone on trust-able guys or make it secure by using access code or pattern lock feature because you don’t know that whether the person you are handling your phone is either angel or demon from his/her mind .

Unlock your internet dongle with DC-Unlocker

One of my friends recently purchased a TATA PHOTON + 3G dongle (modem) and started using it. After some time as he get fed up with the over-charged price for the data he was using for, he just closed his connection of Tata Photon + .He cleared all his dues however the internet dongle was refused to be taken back by the company .

Android phones—are you really smart….

      

Thinking to buy an android phones just because you get mesmerized by the fact that how your colleague, who is using an android phone to handle his daily life aesthetically using more than ample number of applications available in Developer store (read Google play store) or just because of that you are an advocate of sharing knowledge to free world and thus choosing android over I-phone and windows phone.

Well whatever are the reasons, we are not here to discuss the pros and cons of different kind of operating systems based phone. I just want to share one of my various thoughts coming from my confused mind which just cropped up in mind that an operating system which is open for all of us; if it can develop drastically in a positive way the very chance of some of it development coming by the side of negative thinkers too. 

And as I am also a proud owner of android phone, I searched a little bit over the internet and I found out this little disturbing tagline – USSD code which can erase your android- for android phone users. Literally when I read that article, I seriously thought “whoa!! I couldn’t ever see that thing coming”. So what is this thing? How does it work?

Well let me first tell you about USSD codes. Unstructured Supplementary Service Data i.e. USSD are codes made of numeric and special symbols which sometimes you run on your cell phone to avail some supplementary services like knowing your balance or knowing some info about your value added services like caller tune.  So generally YOU run these code on your cell phones nevertheless what if some hacker will run some special USSD codes through the browser of your android cell phone which can end in deleting all your data or cause call diversion or simply lock your sim or what else and trust me you will never find out how did just this happens.

So either check that whether your android phone is vulnerable to this threat by simply opening this link through your mobile browser www.isk.kth.se/~rbbo/testussd.html ; its test page simply checks that whether your android dialer process USSD codes or not and if it does it will show your phone IMEI number and thus confirming your phone vulnerability of your phone to attack or you can just install a app which is free ( the best feature of android phone) NoTelURL which will warn and ask you every-time your permission to execute it .  

Well quite a useful feature for a hacker and quite a disturbing for android users. Better it will be to have a backup of your smart phone always handy. Anyway now after whenever you start boasting about your android phone that how smart it is , just think for a while “ is it really smart” …… 

Have we evolved??

                                                     

Quite old adage yet true “the world is a race bound to follow by the rule of survival of fittest”. However I am starting to wonder in this 21^st world century that who is more fit between pen or sword, thought or body, people or government, sense or will, opinion or argument, humor or satire . I always believed in the power of former than latter in all the exemplified cases. However in the present evolving world it doesn’t seem true. I am getting an ambivalent vision after intercepting different kind of triggering events happening in the part of world (mostly India) , whether it is the outrage in various  Muslim countries over a film that according to them defame their prophet “the innocence of Muslims”  or the recent outcry in one of the state of INDIA which gave its one of the sharing river’s water to its partner state just to counter-effect the post-monsoon water deficiency problem or the clash between Bodos( an ethnic group of Assam ) and Bengali migrants in Assam that gave India its biggest ever people migration ( 5 lacs.) in recent months or the recent beating of two native bandra boys in Mumbai because they show what to do in real to some video which ,we think, is blasphemous to a mob who was protesting against a movie which they think was hitting on their religion and their prophet ( they showed them a placard in which it was written that “don’t watch” ).

Well I am still thinking that what is in real is evolving in the basic process of nature, whether it is our mind, our body, our rage, our hatred , our chauvinist feeling or what else. I am damn sure about our body as it’s degraded from the time of our ancestors. I am doubtful of evolution of mind as if it were true, most of the problems of our daily life and others social life would have ended aesthetically.  Might be rage, hatred I can say is evolving in nowadays. Teenagers hatred towards their parents, employee hatred about their working conditions, minority ethnic group hatred towards majority group and vice versa , people hatred towards their corrupt government ,groups hatred towards some creativity which they think blindly as a blasphemy to their religion and all of this are resulting into rage which is affecting their own daily lives and if a person can’t see the consequence of his doings affecting his own life then  it’s definitely not the evolution of mind.

Why are we not in our senses? We are having the brilliant mind among God’s different creation. Then why are behaving like less of them. What happened to us? Have we evolved or haven’t we?

What are they -CAG- Comptroller and Auditor General

Many of the persons in INDIA are so much interested in these days about CAG after the revelation of one of biggest Scams of Free India- the coal scam and 2G scam.However does they really now what is CAG ,well If they now then it's good however if they don't here are some words about them from the Creator of our Indian Constitution, Dr. B. R . Ambedkar. Here are those beautiful excerpts :-

I am of the opinion that this dignitary or officer is probably the most important officer in the Constitution of India. He is the one man who is going to see that the expenses voted by Parliament are not exceeded, or varied from what has been laid down by Parliament in the Appropriation Act. If this functionary is to carry out the duties — and his duties, I submit, are far more important than the duties even of the Judiciary — he should have been certainly as independent as the Judiciary. But, comparing the Articles about the Supreme Court and those relating to the Auditor-General, I cannot help saying that we have not given him the same independence which we have given to the Judiciary, although I personally feel that he ought to have far greater independence than the Judiciary itself” (May 30, 1949)

Again by our first Vice President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan , some nice words has been put for CAG. Here is it -  “Ours is a poor country, its resources are limited and we cannot afford to risk any kind of waste and the Audit and Accounts Department will have to look upon their functions as the functions of the greatest public utility ...” In conclusion, he asserted: “If I have one advice to give and if I am presumptuous enough to give any advice to the officers of the audit and accounts, it is this: ‘Do not shrink from the truth for fear of offending men in high places’.” -1954


It is unfortunate that being on such a higher post in Indian government system hierarchy , It  don't have the freedom it needs right now in today's scenario.

Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru in 1952 also came forward to favor  CAG working . He just supported the CAG's criticism for the government by saying - " “He [the CAG] is not responsible to the Government and it is open for him to criticize the Government in reports. For him to be criticized on the floor of the House would tend to undermine the special position that has been granted to him to discharge his duties without fear or favor.”

 These eminent persons didn't comment the personals behind CAG , nevertheless they praised the idea and working of CAG.
CAG just like the ECI are some of the true watch-dogs of Indian democracy since the time they came into existence.
